Custom Men's Straight-Leg Joggers with Contrast Side Stripes and Zip Pockets

Premium Men's Straight-Leg Joggers with Contrast Side Stripes and Zipped Pockets
This style moves the jogger away from the classic cuffed sweatpant and into a sharper, sport-heritage direction. The leg is cut straight from hip to hem which keeps the line clean. Twin contrast stripes run the full length of both outer seams, front and back, and a pressed crease on the front leg adds structure on top of the knit. The waistband is a full elastic finish with no exposed drawcord, which keeps the front clean for retail presentation. Both side pockets are secured with low-profile zippers, and the back panel is kept plain with a shaped waist yoke instead of patch pockets.

Product Development
Two details drive the technical work on this style. The first is the stripe: width, spacing, colour match and stitch density have to be locked so both legs mirror each other and the stripe stays straight from waist to hem after wash. The second is the front crease, which has to survive a knit fabric that naturally relaxes, so the pressing method and any supporting interlining need to be agreed with sampling. The zipped side pockets also need a stable pocket bag and a puller that stays low profile but is still usable with cold hands. The 96% polyester / 4% elastane at 310 GSM recorded in the reference specification (to be confirmed during sample development) is intended to give a smooth matte face with enough recovery for a straight-leg drape; any change in fabric will affect how visible the stripes and the crease become, so fabric substitution should be sampled rather than assumed.
Sample Development Notes
Confirm on the first sample: stripe width and spacing on both legs, stripe colour against the base shade, crease retention after pressing and after one wash, zipper length and puller profile, pocket bag depth, waistband height and stretch recovery, and the exact position and stitch of the embroidered logo. Total length, inseam and leg opening measurements should be checked against the size chart, and the espresso, steel blue and stone colourways should be approved separately because dark and light grounds read the stripes differently.
OEM / ODM / Private Label
OEM: build from your tech pack and reference sample, with fabric, stripe tape, zipper, thread, labels and packaging locked to your specification.
ODM: start from this straight-leg pattern and adapt stripe direction, colour, fabric weight or the waistband and pocket build to create a differentiated style.
Private label: your own logo, embroidery programme, size grading, care labels, hangtags and retail packaging developed under your brand.

Best for
Activewear brands building a polished club and travel range, and buyers who want a jogger silhouette with tailoring cues such as side stripes, a front crease and zipped pockets rather than a standard cuffed sweatpant.
Private Label Development Notes
This pattern is well suited to a private label launch because the visible differentiators are trims rather than fabric claims: stripe colour, stripe width, crease, zipper choice and embroidery placement can all be adjusted to your brand direction. Confirm the stripe and crease specifications on the first sample, and decide before sampling whether the back panel should stay plain or carry a small rear pocket, since that changes the pattern and the marker.
